Starz劇集《古戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)傳奇》還在拍攝第4季，如今就正式宣布一連續(xù)訂第5、6兩季，畢竟收視率很好。新續(xù)訂的兩季各有12集，預(yù)計(jì)2019和2020年播出，依次會(huì)基于原作小說(shuō)《異鄉(xiāng)人》系列中的《血十字》和《雪塵的呼吸》。而且這兩季后，小說(shuō)還有兩本沒(méi)拍完，現(xiàn)在作者Diana Gabaldon還在寫(xiě)一本新的，所以第6季很可能也不是該劇終點(diǎn)。
